Small, isolated groups of people live lives virtually untouched by all the technological progress that surrounds them. The modern world calls these people primitive, inferring environmental factors such as climate, poverty and disease don’t allow them to progress. A philosophy is assumed; to call these people primitives is to suggest that what these people now are is what we once were and what we now are these people will someday be.
