Description: In the summer of 1961 President Muhammad Ayub Khan of Pakistan paid a state visit to the United States, during which he toured Texas with – then Vice President – Lyndon Baines Johnson as his guide. Narrated by KTBC newsman Neal Spelce, this footage features President Khan’s arrival at Randolph Air Force Base, including his speech. Following the newscast is silent footage of the air show performed in his honor and his visit to the Alamo.
