Description: SCREENER with timecode. Description: This 3/4" video tape of a film shot by Hal Wiley at the Sacramento Musicians Union shows the Bill Rase Band performing. Bill Rase (1926-2006) was a well-known Sacramento  figure. He founded and performed with the Bill Rase Band starting in the 1950s until his death. He was also a disc jockey on local radio in the 1950s, hosted a television variety show, and portrayed "Bosun Bill" on a children's television show. Note: Source is a videotape recording of a film. Due to the original recording, there is tracking noise at the lower edge of the frame, the audio is high and distorted, and the first half of the video is of higher image and audio quality than the latter half.
