Description: Pohinahina, boy from the sun was sent as a helper to a young idol maker Eloa with the stipulation that he return to the sun when recalled or die. He came to love earth so much that when his time came to return to the sun, he chose to stay. Because of his decision, he was turned into a Silversword plant which grows nowhere except in the 10,000 foot crater of Haleakala.
