A 3-dimensional model of the earth-moon system, animated sequences and live photography fool the eye, jolting viewers from an earth-centered viewpoint to give them a truer picture of the earth's place and movements in the solar system. This demonstrates a basic principle of scientific thinking -- the importance of the ability to "take off" from a restricted situation like being earthbound.
