Description: The purposes of this film include--development of some geographic concepts and terminology related to Norway, observation of customs and activities of the children, development of an appreciation of the beauty of the mountains, valley, lakes and fjords, arousing interest in caring for and training of pets (particularly pigeons) and the need for care and companionship in all outdoor activities. The setting for this film is a farm near a fjord in Norway. The home life of two brothers is followed. The story is developed around their care in the raising and training of a carrier pigeon named Lucky.
