Description: Beginning in a museum devoted to "de stijl," the art movement to which Piet Mondriaan (1872-1944) belonged, the Dutch artist's work is explored through his paintings, writings, colleagues, and studios in the Netherlands, Paris, London, and New York. Traces Mondriaan's development from naturalism through cubism to pure abstraction. Directed and produced by Nico Crama in collaboration with the Municipal Museum and Art Gallery, The Hague.
