The affinity which men have for ships and the sea is vividly contrasted with the modern technology which makes shipping a complex business. Without narration, the graceful beauty of ships at sea is shown in graphic juxtaposition to the containerization and special loading and handling techniques which have revolutionized shipping and, perhaps, deprived it of some of its romance.
