Considers the writing problems involved in reporting a story, as a professional and a student journalist follow a story about inner-city eviction and observe the "puzzle pieces" of landlords, tenants, and eviction crew members. For both writers, revision is a process of being willing to continually re-examine the material and the words on the page until the meaning becomes clear. Shows efficient and direct editing with minimal commentary. From the Writers Writing series. Directed and produced by Ellen Hovde and Muffie Meyer. An Annenberg / CPB project.
