Description: Animation and vintage photographs are intertwined in this animated short charting one woman's odyssey for self-definition. As a young girl, she claims the Native American feather of her grandfather despite the taunts of her peers. Coming of age in the 70's, she reaches for her African roots and participates in the struggles for Black power. In the end, however, she reconciles the dual strands of her African and Native American heritages.
