Description: Traces Picasso’s life from childhood to old age showing a retrospective of his paintings and sculpture filmed on location at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, the Hermitage in Leningrad, the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Some glimpses of Picasso’s personal life are provided with comments by his son Claude Picasso, his former wife and Don Luis Miquel Dominguin, the famous Spanish bullfighter. Includes film clips showing scenes of Gertrude Stein, Georges Braque, the Spanish Civil War, the bombing of Guernica in the 1900’s, and Russian Communists applauding the political sympathies of Picasso.
