Philip Whalen and Gary Snyder

Introduces the poetry of Philip Whalen and Gary Snyder and the reasons behind their works. Illustrates Whalen's reading of his poetry "Homage to Rodin" with pictures of the Palace of the Legion of Honor and Rodin's sculptures "The Thinker" and "The Shades."
