Hi, I'm Stephanie Rosenbomb. Let's be friends. I live in an historic city. I live in the eastern part of the United States in the state of Pennsylvania. There's a playground in my school. It's on the roof. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. [Music] I live in Philadelphia. [Music] Philadelphia is located in the eastern part of Pennsylvania on the Delaware River. Philadelphia was founded by William Penn in 1681. When America was a colony of England, Philadelphia was the largest city in America. The first congress from the 13 colonies met here in 1774. The second congress met here in Independence Hall. On July 1776, Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence. The United States Constitution was signed here in 1787. Philadelphia was the capital of the United States from 1790 to 1800. Betsy Ross made the first flag in his house and Philadelphia's most famous founding father was Benjamin Franklin. Philadelphia is a city of first.
