This stage includes activities that integrate movement and perception. Activities such as hop scotch, roller skating, singing, crafts help to improve such skills as concentration and muscle coordination, rhythm, and auditory acuity. Craft activities also point the way to vocational aptitudes that may be developed by further training and give the student a sense of accomplishment.
