Pepita's surprise: birthday at Patzcuaro

Description: People of the picturesque region of Patzcuaro, Michoacon, Mexico as seen in their natural environment. On the occasion of a birthday excursion by Pepita and her father an intimate family fiestas is prepared for her while she is away. Musicians play the traditional birthday song “Las Mananitas” and the delighted small friends and neighbours play at breaking pinata; climax occurs when Pepita is presented with a three day old burro.
