Description: Examines life on the collective farms in Russia by visiting the new Bratsk Timber Complex in Siberia, the 50,000 acre Kirov Collective Farm in the Kuban, and a small collective farm in Byelorussia. Shows the people at work and observes their continuing efforts to industrialize agriculture, modernize housing, and provide better school, cultural, and sporting facilities for the farmers. Looks at the problem of insufficient work for the women of a collective.
