Description: Describes how efforts to bring health measures to the world's population are reaching the most remote corners of the earth. Maria, a young Bolivian nurse, establishes a health center for a group of Indians living in the Andes, who are among the poorest and most ill-nourished people in the world, and Aung Tan, another health worker, tries to bring medical attention to the natives of a small village in Burma.
