Description: Sold to tourists in Hawaii as a souvenir, this short, silent film shows images of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. It begins with famous footage of the American fleet under attack, followed by shots of hangars and facilities aflame, and an inferno of burning ships and oil storage facilities. At 2:00, in aftermath footage, what appears to be the capsized hull of the USS Oklahoma is seen. The film ends with shots from "present day" -- probably the 1960s -- of the hulk of the USS Arizona, prior to construction of the memorial monument.
