Description: A sheet of paper is taken for granted today, but it was a treasure in other times. Bash Kennett tells of man’s attempt to create something on which he could record his thoughts. She traces the discovery of wood pulp which led to the conquest of America’s forests by loggers who cut the trees for paper mills. Songs include “Poor Pitat” and “Oh Susannah.”
