Description: Miscellaneous material likely shot for a local Austin television program, the film features an eclectic variety of topics ranging from family fun at a miniature golf course and driving range to household supplies and paint cans at a nearby hardware store. Another story appears to be new cars for sale and salesman inspecting the latest product. Antique cars with posters promoting screenings of old movies provide a good point of comparison with the new vehicles featured. The older cars appear outside of an Austin drive-in theater. In the middle of the film, a quasi-advertisement for Muzak (background music) featuring Austin's own Muzak salesman, newly appointed to the job in June, 1960. He discusses how different musical genres work as background or foreground music and showcases a brochure that states: "Music is widely known as an emotional stimulant." Muzak is music for business. A public service announcement for driving courtesy and safety over the upcoming July fourth holiday follows the Muzak advertisement.
