When Little Bear tells Little Tiger that he has discovered a wonderful-smelling crate labeled Panama, the two friends abandon their happy home to search for Panama, "the land of their dreams." Simple folk tunes heighten the playful spirit of this adventure film which delicately suggests that happiness is often very, very close to home. Film festival winner "Panama" is based on the book by Janosch.
