Description: Outside the bank, Paddington is approached by a dishonest man who suggests he invest his money in oil, showing Paddington an oil drip on the street. He buys a share for 5 pounds, but the next day learns the truth from a policeman. Mr. Gruber offers PB 6 pounds for his share; Paddington is hired by Mr. Curry to make a service opening between his kitchen and the dining room. Paddington instead makes a hole in the wrong wall.
