Description: Original camera footage edited for broadcast for KNTV San Jose Channel 11 news. Includes national, local, and sports coverage. The broadcast script for this date did not survive. Reel 1: Segment 1 (silent): Silver U.S. Air Force plane on the tarmac. Pilot examining it, traces his finger around what appears to be a bullet hold in the side of the plane, sticks his finger in it. Segment 2 (silent): Graduation ceremonies around the San Jose area. Segment 3 (silent): Residential fire. Firefighters at work putting out the fire as people look on from the street. One of the firemen brings out a pet turtle and hoses him down, then the turtle begins to walk on the sidewalk. Reel 2: Segment 1 (silent + sound): Silent footage of what appears to be a hearing in front of a commission or local superintendents. Followed by woman speaking to camera about local dairy industry: "It's about time. They needed this. Our production of milk is going down, and down, and yet population is increasing and increasing. And why is this? Because the dairy man who produces this milk and has been doing this for years as an efficient dairy man with the very finest of equipment, cannot stay in business, cannot face the costs of equipment, the high taxes on his land, and he's just losing his shirt." She comments on home delivery and local distributors being for or against this. Segment 2 (silent); Fire at a Midas Muffler Shop. Onlookers outside.
