Our Country's Song

Opens with a school chorus singing "The Star Spangled Banner." Flashbacks show the class studying the background of the writing of the national anthem. The students also sing "Yankee Doodle" and "Hail, Columbia," either of which might have become the national anthem. The narrator points out that people stand in respect to the song and flag when singing the national anthem.
