Description: An adaptation of the short story by Saki, in which a sickly, nervous man is told by the young girl of the country house he is visiting that the garden doors are kept open because her aunt, who lost her husband and brother in a hunting accident three years before, believes that the men will return at any moment.

He retreats from closing a draughty window when Vera appears, twitches and trembles as she tells of the death of uncles, and retreats at the sight of these supposedly dead men suddenly arriving through open windows.
