Morris Rosenberg, Elizabeth Cheney and Jaret Oktar are homeless after Oktar's antiques shop fails. They take a bed Napoleon slept on and sleep on it outside under the stars in a park. After a performance, a street sweeper expresses his desire to learn how to play a particular tune. After they settle in, Otkar goes looking for food, he runs into Cheney, who has purloined some celery. The trio make it through the winter, and when spring comes, Rosenberg has exciting news with a symphony orchestra.
