On The Stability Of Matter

Explains that the atom is mostly space through which atomic particles move, held by forces analogous to the force of gravity. Illustrates that in spite of internal motion and spacious structure an atom remains itself, and that changes in matter, as witnessed in burning, are a rearrangement of the same particles. Emphasizes that the material world is stable because its atoms are stable.
