No Room for Wilderness

Discusses ecology in order to generate support for family planning by showing what man's spreading civilization is doing to the natural balance of wildlife and wilderness. Uses African examples to develop an explanation of ecology and to show primitive man's relationship to his environment, depicting the ecological balance by showing the inter-relationships of several species of animals. Demonstrates the disruptive effect of civilization and stresses the need to preserve wilderness as a source of knowledge, suggesting that world-wide population control is the only means of achieving this balance.
