Adapted from the 1952 motion picture telecast in the Cavalcade of America Series. Dramatizes the heroism of Clara Louise Maass, a Spanish-American War nurse, who allowed herself to be bitten by a stegomyia mosquito to further experiemnts being conducted in the Las Animas Hospital, Havana, during a yellow fever epidemic at the turn of the century.
