Presents a comparative study by Dr. Margaret Mead of the Manus people of the Admiralty Islands in 1928 and after World War II. Dioramas from the American Museum of Natural History are used to show the life of the people in 1928. Live-action photography is used to document the people's lives after 1945 following their exposure to advanced cultures during World War II.
