Description: Deals with the disposition of Italian colonies after World War II, and the UN supervision of the Italian Trusteeship in Somaliland. Gives a brief history of the negotiations which created the trusteeship, and discusses the problems of the Somali people, which arise out of poverty and ignorance. Shows some of the improvements made during the colonial period, and depicts the present emphasis on education to combat the people's resistance to change.
