Describes a new vacuum tube developed by the Argonne National Laboratory Metallurgy Division and the Rauland Corporation. Shows how the tube produces a brilliant image which may be viewed with a closed-circuit television camera. Illustrates applications of the tube to neutron radiography and neutron motion pictures.
