Description: Documentary exploring the Italian film movement, Neo-realism, which developed during World War II and dealt with moral, social and political problems in real locations. Includes interviews with Roberto Rossellini, Vittorio De Sica, Michaelangelo Antonioni, Pier Paolo Pasolini and Bernardo Bertolucci. Features film clips from Rossellini’s “Rome, open city” and “Paisa” and De Sica’s “Umberto D”.
