Nambo

Description: Episode of Series “Solomon Islands”. Nambo is a large fruit grown in the Solomon Islands. Islanders are shown preparing and drying the fruits for local sale. Nambo is harvested from the forest, cut into pieces and dried and shipped to Honiara. Nambo is said to be more nutritious than biscuits. Photography by Dean Semler.
