This spring, in Tsavo National Park in Kenya, forms a chain of pools six feet deep and two miles long, by seepage of underground water from volcanic hills 25 miles away. This oasis attracts much wildlife and affords opportunity to observe animal behavior and the complex interdependence of predator and prey.
