The entire film takes place in school, as students use the Total Resource Center (technologically advanced library); perform a satire on the Trojan Ware; participate in a "propaganda game," which employs many of the sophisticated techniques of modern propagandists; and engage in various learning situations on an individualized and group basis. The curriculum at Nova School calls for children to begin -- as early as kindergarten -- a study of social sciences (beginning with "social" processes related to the life of young child); an "audio-lingual" study of foreign languages; and from kindergarten on, learning in geometry, algebra, and arithmetic.
