Description: Defines and discusses chromosomal and genetic mutations as they apply to man and as demonstrated by experiments with Drosophila, datura, mice and bacteria. Highlights the hemophilic offspring of Queen Victoria as it exemplifies mutational inheritance in man. Charts the frequency of spontaneous mutation in bacteria, man, etc. Shows how mutant bacterial strains can be isolated in the laboratory. Tells of Dr. H. J.
