A class which is vitally interested in aviation creates a full symphony based on an airplane, involving every student in research and individual creative expression, taught by "Mr. Elmore" to his 6th grade class at Hester School, San Jose, California. Based on the 1952 book "We Wrote a Symphony - So Can You!" by Ruth Olive Bradley; C.C. Birchard & Company, Boston. Bradley was Associate Professor of Education at San Jose State University. The 65-page book contains extensive notes and a full musical score.
