Description: Follows a variety of activities by a high school filmmaking class involved in creating super 8mm motion pictures. Shows students participating in the following processes: scratching images directly on film, storyboarding and scripting, camera operations, basic lighting techniques, simple animation, pixillation, macrophotography, kinestasis, editing and splicing, adding sound, and critiquing finished film. Emphasizes how communication skills are enhanced by the experiences and includes samples of student productions.
