Description: Fred Davis discovers how a strip of celluloid becomes a film when he visits a National Film Board production crew on location and the Board’s Ottawa studios. Directors, photographers, film editors, sound technicians, animation artists and many others demonstrate the various elements that go into the making of NFB films. Shows how sound is recorded, film footage is cut and edited to give proper visual balance, the sound track of a film is made also takes a look at the laboratory processes.
