Sara Smith, a Mohawk Indian from the Six Nations Reserve in Ontario, Canada uses contemporary methods to make pottery of exceptional beauty. The designs she uses on her work are drawn from age-old cultural symbols, such as the Tree of Peace, which is exquisitely recreated on the vase she makes in this film.
