Demonstrates how the choreographer with a creative imagination discovers new relationships and finds new concepts in common subject matter. Uses four complete dance compositions--a children's dance, a whimsey, a pantomime, and a period piece--to show the adaptation of common sounds and antics, trivial occurrences, everday situations, or existing music through stylizing, dramatizing, enriching, or otherwise creating an interaction between observation and ideas.
