To illustrate that the source of creativity lies within man and that the subject matter for dance exists in the world around us, the film presents four complete dance compositions: "Summer is Icumen In, " a round in fragmented form; "Farandola, " a dance; "Greensleeves Duet, " a romantic dance and "Boxes, " a dramatic abstraction of ordinary activity.
