Description: A film devoted to re-examining our patriarchal society's mythologies about the experience of childbirth. Concentrates on the visual and aural essences of the mother's experience in an effort to critique the contradictions between male theories of what childbirth ought to be and the persistent phenomenon of women's alienated labor. The film reflects my perception of a man and a woman trying to be equal partners in an unequal situation.
