Individually treats each type of microorganism: fungi, bacteria, viruses, rickettsia, and protozoa. Shows examples of cell destruction by fungi causing athlete's foot, red blood cell destruction by bacteria toxin, nerve cell destruction by polio virus, and action on red blood cells by malaria protozoa. Rickettsia is depicted as it is transmitted by bites of animals such as ticks.
