Description: Episode of Series “Advance Australia”. Illustrates the use of many types of equipment now available to farmers to assist in the production of food for use both in Australia and for export to other countries. Equipment demonstrated includes different types of tractors, ploughs, cultivators, seed drills, ditch-digging equipment, harvesting machines, mechanical and hand spraying equipment for dusting crops and orchards, post-hole borers and power drills for building fences, small bulldozers and so on.
