Description: . Reviews the life of Mao Tse-tung, who was greatly influenced by the democratic revolution of Sun Yat-sen in the 1920's. As head of the Chinese Communist Party he joined forces with Sun Yat-sen, then with Chiang Kai-shek to fight the Japanese, and finally with the forces which expelled Chiang and formed an alliance with the Soviet Union. Narrated by Mike Wallace.
