MANY AMERICANS - TODD GROWING UP IN APPALACHIA

Description: a youngster in Appalachia is portrayed struggling in a life of poverty. Todd, while unquestionably not directly part of the American mainstream, is faced with a strikingly familiar problem: one most children struggle with at some time in their lives, Todd is presented with an opportunity to acquire personal gain through dishonesty. Todd finds a packet of food stamps and knows who the owner is. Should he keep them and enjoy the extra food so strongly desired, or yield to his sensitivity when he sees the family who lost the stamps with no food at all.
