Training is provided and agencies are formed to help people into the right jobs. Women join the workforce and mechanical accommodations are made for them. Factories that previously made peacetime products re tool to make war materials , Presents the problems and confusions now existing--labor pirating, the shortage of skilled workers, living conditions of migrant workers and their families, lack of housing in war industrial areas. Paul V. McNutt, chairman of the War Manpower Commission, introduces the problem and suggests voluntary steps to be followed.
