Man On A Tightrope.

In 1952 Czechoslovakia, circus man Karel Cernik struggles to keep his beloved Cirkus Cernick together. The film is based on a plot to escape the Communist government. The plot involves the escape of a spy in the midst of the circus. The escape attempt is thwarted by the spy, who is mortally wounded.
